NIACCAlerts is a free messaging service to provide text messages and e-mail notices to students and staff about campus closings due to weather, and other emergency announcements should there be a need to quickly notify the campus community of threats to the safety of students and staff. The messaging service is provided by Regroup.
NIACC will create your account for current students and BVU students to receive email messages and text messages to the cell phone. If you provided your cell phone number to NIACC Admissions when you applied or on the purple sheet when you registered for classes we likely have added your cell phone to the Alerts system already.
Students – To provide your cell phone number to receive emergency messages please log in to the TrojanHome Portal and fill out the NIACCAlerts Cell Phone Update Form.
NIACC Staff – Please see instructions for NIACC Alerts on the Resources tab of the TrojanHome Portal.
